Empowering Performers—One Performance at a Time.
Signature Performances & Community Events
Black Nativity
Black Nativity is a soul-stirring musical celebration, originally written by acclaimed poet and playwright Langston Hughes. This annual performance reimagines the classic Nativity story through the lens of African-American culture and tradition, blending powerful gospel music, vibrant dance, and moving narration. Each year, our production honors heritage, community, and the true spirit of the holiday season.
God’s Trombone
God’s Trombone is a powerful stage adaptation inspired by the celebrated collection of sermons by James Weldon Johnson. Through dramatic readings, soulful music, and expressive movement, this production brings to life the rich tradition and spiritual depth of African-American church sermons, creating an unforgettable experience that uplifts and inspires audiences of all ages.
Back To School Giveway
Our Annual Back to School Giveaway is a community-driven event dedicated to supporting local families as the new school year begins. We provide free backpacks, school supplies, and resources to students of all ages, helping to ensure every child starts the year confident and prepared.
